The international autumn art season kicks off each September with EXPO CHICAGO, which hosts leading art galleries alongside some of the most influential organizational platforms for global contemporary art and culture. In 2017, EXPO partnered with Palais de Tokyo for a satellite exhibition titled Singing Stones at the historic Round House at the DuSable Museum of African American History. For this project, the student team worked with Palais de Tokyo and EXPO staff to research, design and facilitate tours of the DuSable Roundhouse Singing Stones exhibition for the general public. In addition, the team curated, installed and programmed a “cabinet of curiosities” with Singing Stones artists at the Chicago Athletic Club. |
