Honey Pot Performance (HPP) is a creative Afro-feminist non-profit organization. Since 2001, HPP has cultivated multiform performance projects and participatory public humanities programming. Honey Pot Performance also acts as an incubator for the development of new works by artists of color. The Chicago Black Social Culture Map (CBSCM) archive is a program of Honey Pot Performance documenting and archiving the history of House Music in Chicago through collecting stories and oral histories. The Management studio team project worked with Honey Pot Performance to develop and curate online modes of programming, archiving and storytelling for the CBSCM.
